Tribute to Mummy Okuyiga Saying farewell to another amazing woman. The woman we knew as Aunty Labs, a wonderful mother to so many. Being in her presence was simply divine, she embodied warmth, grace, courage, faith and love in her actions that gallantly mirrored her words. She was truly an inspiration and a testament of what it means to be a ‘light’ in a peculiar world. If I dwell too much on the unfairness and cruelty of life, I’ll stay bitter, so instead I choose to take a leaf from your book, I’ll leave space for grace. I’ll celebrate your legacy and the light that lives on through your phenomenal children. In our last conversation, you wrote ‘Never forget the two wonderful women that God brought into your life’.... I promise, I never will. Take your rest now, fly high in heaven (say Hi to my mum up there) and rest in arms of The Almighty. Amen
