GOOD NIGHT TO A DEAR FRIEND Labake as I I fondly call you. Aunty Labs as some others whom you related with call you. Your exit was most unexpected,it came ti me personally as a rude shock. Our paths crossed some three decades ago, as one of my late husband's fellow worker at the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO), Oshodi, Lagos. You gladly accepted me as part of your friendship. In the course of knowing one another, two of our children also had their Secondary education in the same school which further cemented the bond if family tie. Knowing and relating with you was quite memorable and will ever remain fresh in my mind. You loved both the young and old alike. You were such a warm and welcoming personality to be with. You loved to identify and celebrate the joy of others. I also recall driving with you in your car to Epe on some occasions for Moderation exercises of exams and scripts. It was usually an opportunity to pick up some old gists and new ones. On return from such trips, you still consider it necessary to drop me off at home. To us your friends and acquaintances, we may have adjudged your journey on this side of eternity so short, but God is all-knowing and has taken her away to before the evil days. Rest on beloved sister. I pray that the Almighty God will continue to preserve your estate in Jesus Name. Adieu my friend and good night! Dr Atinuke Amao-Kehinde
