Ayo 2nd May 2021

My Mum. You are the warmest, the wisest and the bravest woman ever. I'm so proud of you...of how brave and adventurous you were. I love that you did so many things that you wanted simply because you had to courage to step out of your comfort zone; I remember you going to the West Indies Carnival at Notting Hill with your tiny purse, your hoodie and your Oyster card. I remember you learning Mandarin a few years back. Though you tried to prepare us, your departure has left a void in the hearts of us all. But more importantly, you have left a lasting legacy with us, your children and grandchildren. We will strive to continue this legacy and pass on everything you have taught us. I smile when I think of you and Aunty Ronke up in Heaven, laughing and giggling as you did in life. Love you, mum. From Nathan, Tammy, Mayi and Ayo. It is never 'The End' , but 'To Be Continued' .
